Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant, Capital Accounting will manage the accounting for the company's capital expenditures, primarily capitalized software projects. Responsibilities include:
- Tracking and managing capitalized assets (capitalization, depreciation, retirements, disposals)
- Preparing financial and project reports, performing month-end close, account analysis, and reconciliations
- Ensuring GAAP compliance and supporting internal/external audits
- Collaborating with project managers and finance teams for accurate project financial oversight
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline capital accounting functions

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior accounting role
- Experience in a fast-paced accounting department of a publicly traded corporation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA Certification
- Experience with Oracle Financials
