Job Profile:
To manage and oversee financial accounting, auditing, taxation, budgeting, and compliance functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory adherence while providing strategic financial insights for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors for timely completion.
- Manage direct and indirect tax matters, including GST, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business objectives.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and improving profitability.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and controls.
- Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and reports to management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting and finance staff.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid certification.
- Proven experience in the accounting, auditing, and taxation fields.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
