We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team and support our plant operations in Domjur, Howrah.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day chemical production processes to ensure smooth plant operation.
- Monitor chemical reactions, process parameters, and optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting, process improvement, and implementing new chemical processes.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, process documentation, and technical data sheets.
- Coordinate with the QC/QA team to ensure product quality meets company standards.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and liaise with the maintenance team as required.
- Provide technical support for process scaling, new product trials, and R&D initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.E./ B. Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 – 6 years of hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing plant.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, safety protocols, and industrial equipment.
- Good knowledge of plant utilities, reactors, and distillation/filtration units.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
