to help professionalize and scale operations.
The Opportunity
The incoming
CFO (or VP Finance)
will serve as a
strategic partner to the CEO and Board
, responsible for building the financial infrastructure, leading M&A integration, and creating the financial discipline required for sustainable, acquisitive growth.
This role balances
strategic vision and operational execution,
from shaping the capital structure and integration playbook to standing up systems, teams, and controls that enable scale.

Key Priorities (First 12–18 Months)
- Build the Finance Function:
Establish internal reporting, FP&A processes, ERP systems, and controls; transition from outsourced to in-house finance operations. - Lead Acquisition Integration:
Develop a repeatable integration framework for consolidating financials and driving synergies across regional operators. - Drive Capital Stewardship:
Manage lender relationships, debt covenants, and board reporting; ensure efficient deployment of capital and operational discipline.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in
private equity, investment banking, or corporate development
within high-growth or leveraged environments. - Demonstrated success in
buy-and-build or multi-site businesses
, with exposure to
acquisition execution and integration
. - Strong
FP&A, reporting, and M&A finance
capabilities; CPA or audit background advantageous. - A
player-coach
who can scale teams and systems while remaining hands-on in the early stages. - Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable operating in a nimble, low-ego culture while introducing rigor and process.
