Position: Civil Engineer

Location: Bannerghatta Rd, Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising civil engineering projects under GIBS Group Venture – Pathfinder. The candidate should have hands-on experience in civil projects, particularly in new project execution, cost control, construction coordination, and design application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and supervise civil construction projects including commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.
  • Participate in new project execution and assist in implementing project plans effectively.
  • Prepare, review, and provide inputs on project drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate construction coordination and smooth project progress.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation of project activities, progress reports, and approvals.
  • Assist in procurement, material management, and vendor coordination for projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support in designing structures, layouts, and civil systems according to project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in civil engineering projects, with experience in new project execution, construction coordination, design, and cost management.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
  • Excellent project planning, cost control, and coordination skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
