1) Senior Manager – Civil (Conventional, Desalination, Marine & Process)

Reports to: Director – Civil Works & Geotech
ACWA Power is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Manager to provide technical leadership across our global portfolio, including conventional power, desalination, petrochemical and green hydrogen process plants.
In this role, you will support Business Development, Project Execution and O&M teams with civil/structural expertise, risk identification, FEED and EPC review, site due diligence and resolution of complex geotechnical/civil issues across new and existing assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide civil/structural and geotech expertise for conventional, desalination, petrochemical and green hydrogen plants.
- Support BD with site visits, BOQ reviews, risk assessments, feasibility studies and site selection.
- Evaluate FEED contractors and review FEED engineering deliverables.
- Assess EPC contractor proposals and align technical documentation with MFS/OTS.
- Resolve civil/soil/structural issues during execution and support O&M for existing assets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance with policies, standards and procedures.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (PG Diploma preferred).
- 10–15 years’ experience in power/desalination/process plants (MENA preferred).
- Strong EPC/developer experience with international project exposure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Staad, ETABS, ArcGIS.
- Strong understanding of international + MENA civil/geotech standards.
