Trading’s task is to maximize value by growing and leveraging the platform. We are actively seeking top talent to join the Middle Office Risk Management Team. This team analyzes, manages, and prevents operational risks associated with Moeve Trading activities, based on a deep understanding of the business, processes, and procedures. You will help drive this exciting agenda by managing some of the largest market risks the company faces.
The responsibilities entrusted to you:- Monitor operational risk for Moeve Trading's business, following established procedures.
- Manage the Trading Operational Risk (TOR) software application to identify events.
- Analyze causes, evaluate controls, and implement immediate or preventive actions.
- Generate reports for management and relevant departments.
- Assess potential operational risks during significant IT or process changes.
- Advocate for risk mitigation measures, advise on their definition, and monitor their implementation.
- Enhance Moeve Trading's risk management framework by identifying methodologies and solutions for continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of operational risk awareness.

Basic Qualifications:- At least 5 years of experience in financial roles involving trading risk, financial management, processes, and controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Understanding of how changing risk environments impact trading and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience with risk analysis, value-at-risk, financial derivatives, or physical energy markets.
- Skill in process mapping and control identification.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic approach to challenges, and high energy.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passionate about creating value in trading and financial markets.
- Self-motivated with the ability to develop operational risk frameworks.
- Effective planning and organizational skills to meet ambitious targets.
