Role:Cloud Engineer (DevOps) Type :Permanent Location:Letterkenny Work Model :Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) The Role As a Cloud Engineer, youll help our client transform their business through innovative technology solutions, effective IT Service Management and look to create enduring digital value for our clients through the delivery of cloud services. The solutions would be used to enable and scale developers, DevOps, and architects in cloud to use and scale our cloud solutions both securely and natively. The successful candidate will be competent in playbook, role and module development from inception to deployment; adhering to Ansible best practices and design concepts and will have a deep understanding of console configurations and be able to adapt to organizational configuration practices. He/she will adhere to SDLC best practices and be sensitive to customer-specific ITIL directives. Job Responsibilities: Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure solutions across various cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and others. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement end-to-end cloud-based solutions. Develop and implement best practices for cloud platform deployments, including building for observability, future maintenance, and pleasant customer experiences Expectations to "own" all code and features into production, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to the platform. Expected to dive into the unknown and/or bleeding edge technologies on behalf of research & development; this means embracing technical challenges even when documentation is sparse, unknown or out of date. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering. Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures. Desirable Skills: CI/CD environment experience (i.e. Github Action, Azure DevOps, etc.) Multi-tenant Cloud management experience Multiple cloud hosting provider experience (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure) Sr. level knowledge of Linux OS management Experience with IaC - writing / debugging Terraform / TFE scripts, Bicep / ARM, and pipelines.
