Intecsa Industrial and Initec Energia, belonging to Vinci Group, are focusing their areas of activity on the execution of national and international turnkey engineering projects for the hydrocarbon and energy industry.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Construction Planner for an expatriate position to join one of the projects we are running abroad. The Construction Planner shall monitor and control all subcontractor's construction schedule and integrate them into the overall project schedule. Under the direction of the Construction Manager, the Construction Planner shall control and monitor all construction works, prepare progress reports, detect deviations, and propose a mitigation plan when applicable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow up to Level IV Subcontractor's schedule.
- Monitor the progress of construction and pre-commissioning / turnover activities indicating where corrective actions are required.
- Elaboration of progress reports to Client as per CONTRACT requirement.
- Manpower histogram and Construction KPIs update “S” Curve.
- Attend Client and subcontractors’ meetings.
- Establish together with the supervision team, the weekly work forecast (Weekly Work Front), based on the available materials and the received drawings (IFCs), according to the planning.
Technical and Other Requirements
- Candidates must have Spanish or EU nationality, or a work and residence permit in Spain.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Construction Planner at site in oil and gas and / or power plant projects.
- Languages : Spanish and English, fluently technical and speaking.
- High communication and management skills, knowledge of planning, scheduling, and controlling activities in construction & commissioning projects.
- Advanced in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Office.
