About the role:We’re seeking an experienced and driven Project Services Manager to join the Fleetwood team in a national role, playing a pivotal role in leading and enhancing our project controls framework. In this key leadership position, you'll design and implement robust strategies that align with our PMO Roadmap and operational goals, driving efficiency, risk mitigation, and successful construction project delivery.
You'll lead enterprise-level initiatives across risk management, earned value management (EVM), cost and schedule assurance, governance, and benchmarking. Working closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers, you’ll provide expert guidance and ensure adherence to best practices across all phases of project delivery.

The key responsibilities of the role are:- Design and implement comprehensive project controls strategies and processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, integrating enterprise risk management practices to mitigate potential issues.
- Establish and oversee EVM systems to monitor project performance, ensuring projects are on track concerning scope, schedule, and cost.
- Develop metrics and tools to accurately measure project progress, facilitating timely decision-making and corrective actions
- Implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish benchmarking processes to compare project performance against industry standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership, support, and industry best practice procedural advice to relevant Project Managers and Construction Managers
- Reporting and management of issues associated with project delivery e.g., budget overruns, risks and issues, health and safety, design, site management, and human resources.
- Maintaining and developing positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and providing leadership within the business for best practice in project management
You’re an experienced and strategic project professional with 7+ years in major projects, ideally within a design and construct environment. You bring a strong foundation in project controls, with hands-on expertise in areas like cost control, scheduling, procurement, or estimating.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:- 7+ years’ experience with major projects, preferably in a design and construct environment
- Construction experience required
- Demonstrated experience in Project Controls and/or Project Management, with the ability to develop and implement project management frameworks
- Experience with either cost control, planning/scheduling, procurement, or estimating will be highly regarded
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels
- Project management certification would be highly regarded
- Ability to drive innovation and collaboration
- Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively and lead a project team. Building and maintaining relationships with external parties e.g., Clients, contractors, consultants, regulators, community
- A good knowledge of financial management procedures relating to project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, cost management, and reporting.
- Time management and work prioritisation skills.
- Contract management experience and proven track record on large-scale commercial building and construction projects
