Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant, in Government and Public Services- Economic Growth Team located in Shillong, Meghalaya. The position will focus on Investment Promotion and Ease of Doing Business (EoDB)initiatives in Meghalaya. The Consultant will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing client needs, and assisting in the design and implementation of tailored solutions across industries. The role involves performing research, delivering presentations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing project timelines. Consultants are expected to contribute innovative ideas, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure the quality and efficiency of services provided.
Qualifications
- Analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in business requirement analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Project management and team collaboration experience
- Undertake analytical and advisory work related to deregulation, cost of compliance reduction, and sectoral competitiveness.
- Collaborate with state departments and agencies to drive sustainable economic growth initiatives.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards, trends, and best practices
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical tools relevant to business consulting
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to work independently as well as within dynamic, diverse teams
- Prior experience in consulting or advisory services is advantageous
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in government consulting, investment promotion, ease of doing business, deregulation, or cost of regulation projects. (Female candidates are encouraged to apply)
