Diagnostics Data Analyst / Data Scientist – Rotterdam
The Position
We are expanding our Diagnostics Data Analytics team in Rotterdam and are looking for a skilled professional with over 3 years of experience to join us. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data science and diagnostics, contributing to impactful projects that improve healthcare insights and operational efficiency.
As a Diagnostics Data Analyst/Data Scientist, you will:
- Analyze complex diagnostic datasets to extract actionable insights supporting decision-making in healthcare environments.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, leveraging software development skills to ensure robust, automated data workflows.
- Work with time-series and sensor data using InfluxDB, including crafting queries with Flux and SQL.
- Design and implement data models and apply advanced analytics techniques using Python (Pandas, NumPy, and Object-Oriented Programming).
- Collaborate on dashboard creation and visualization, preferably with Grafana or similar tools, to communicate findings effectively.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to translate diagnostic challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Support ongoing innovation and digital transformation initiatives within the diagnostics domain.
Your Profile
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data analytics or data science, ideally with exposure to software development practices.
- Proficient in Python programming, including Pandas, NumPy, and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience with InfluxDB and Flux query language; some working knowledge of SQL is required.
- Familiarity with Grafana or other dashboarding/visualization tools is a plus.
- Ability to work comfortably in both English and Dutch.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving real-world diagnostic data challenges.
- Willingness to work hybrid with 2 days per week in the Rotterdam office.
