Job Title: Azure Data Analyst – ADF & Data Pipelines

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Analyst with strong experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and cloud-based data pipelines. The ideal candidate will focus on analyzing, transforming, and preparing data for reporting and decision-making, while leveraging Azure tools to automate and optimize workflows. You will collaborate closely with business teams and AI/ML stakeholders to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse, clean, transform, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data in Azure environments, including ADF, Synapse, and Azure SQL.
- Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines in ADF to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping, business rules, and transformation logic
- Automate data workflows and integrate with APIs or other Azure services
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to business users.
- Support data quality, governance, and documentation initiatives.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to prepare and deliver data for advanced analytics projects.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar data-focused role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) – pipelines, triggers, and data flows.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
- Experience with Python, R, or similar scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud-based data management.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI-assisted data analysis or AI/ML workflows.
- Knowledge of CI/CD in Azure DevOps for data workflows.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, or master data management tools.
- Prior experience working with remote or distributed teams.
