Role Overview:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large data sets to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency with data handling tools, and the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data into meaningful business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and process large and complex datasets from multiple sources
- Perform advanced statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and patterns
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Create predictive and prescriptive models to guide strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with project managers, business teams, and IT to understand data requirements and deliver insights
- Optimize data collection and analysis processes for efficiency and scalability
- Present findings through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance with governance standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in data analytics
- 3 years managing large projects as a Data Scientist / Analyst
- Proven experience handling big data sets and delivering analytical solutions to support business needs
- Educational Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA
- Must have a relevant Data Analyst certification (e.g., Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or similar)
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Panjabi
Skills & Competencies:
- High-level proficiency in SQL and other database query tools
- Strong programming skills in Python (experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Expertise in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with T/Stata, statistical methods, and research tools
- Ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity
