Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong expertise in setting up data infrastructure and pipelines, with deep knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with data platforms like Databricks, Confluent, or Snowflake, while understanding the underlying technologies and working independently from PaaS offerings.
  • Proficiency with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect, and the ability to select the best tool for each use case.
  • Ability to work independently on complex projects, breaking down objectives into manageable tasks and supporting colleagues when needed.
  • Knowledge of data management and modeling techniques (e.g., Kimball methodology) and experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, Polars, Plotly, and Altair.
  • Proven track record in data transformation and visualization, with experience in setting up BI environments. Practical knowledge of Superset is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to balance pragmatic solutions and long-term technical sustainability.
  • Solid experience with cloud-based platforms and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. You are comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, linters, automated tests, vulnerability screening, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, international environment, effectively collaborating with both in-office and remote colleagues. Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Passion for water conservation and sustainability. You recognize the impact of your role in solving water challenges and are motivated to contribute.
  • Experience in the water or process industry is considered a plus.

  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
  • A chance to work on impactful projects that contribute to sustainability and water conservation.
