Job Description

Main purpose of the role: Responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold deli products and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:

• HACCP training (desirable but not necessary)
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous customer service experience (advantageous)
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure
• A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers

Main duties:

• Actively embody Centra brand values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based
• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas (e.g., sandwiches, hot food, sliced meats)
• Cook, prepare, and display foods throughout the day
• Maintain high standards for counter displays in all fresh food departments
• Share knowledge, recipes, and personal recommendations with customers to demonstrate passion for quality food
• Handle customer queries efficiently, professionally, and in line with store policy
