Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Offshore Designer with strong experience in the oil & gas/offshore industry, preferably in FPSO projects. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in design software such as AVEVA (PDMS/E3D), Navisworks, and a good understanding of international offshore standards including DNV, ABS, API, and AISC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update 3D models, layouts, and detailed drawings for offshore structures and piping systems.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes: DNV, ABS, API, AISC.
- Work with tools like AVEVA E3D, PDMS, Navisworks, SACS, and CAESAR II for design coordination and review.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other designers to develop accurate and constructible design deliverables.
- Participate in model reviews and resolve design clashes or interface issues.
- Support drawing extraction, MTO generation, and document control processes.
Requirements:
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Structural / Piping Design (Engineering degree is a plus).
- 8–10 years of experience in offshore design – FPSO experience preferred.
- Proficient in E3D, PDMS, Navisworks, and familiarity with SACS, CAESAR II.
- Strong knowledge of offshore standards (DNV, ABS, API, AISC).
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
