About the role
Techno is seeking a Design Engineer to join our growing team in Princeton, NJ. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for infrastructure and construction projects. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience across multiple phases of design and development. What you'll do
- Prepare design plans, drawings, and technical specifications for civil and structural projects.
- Perform engineering calculations, design analyses, and modeling under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support project coordination, documentation, and quality control efforts.
- Conduct field visits and site inspections as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project goals and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in design meetings and contribute to technical discussions and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- EIT certification preferred (or the ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 1–4 years of relevant engineering design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other design software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and applicable standards.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and within a team.

The expected salary range for this role in Princeton, NJ Area is $70,000 - $95,000 per year. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process
