One Tech Engineering is searching for a Senior Site Quality Specialist for a position located in Akron, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; or Chesterfield, Missouri. The Electrical Engineer will work with multiple client stakeholders to determine the budget year for transmission projects based on feasibility, budget, and need.
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and at least 3 years of electrical engineering experience.
Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Help create and compile the clients rate filing for PJM.
- Review and approve baseline budget costs for individual projects.
- Attend budget planning meetings with different client stakeholders (general managers, supervisors, etc.)
- Review project change requests (scope, In-service date, etc.)
- Work with outage coordination to assemble a set of regional projects that do no cause conflicts.
- Informal mentoring and training of client’s portfolio engineers on T&D Design and projects.
- Review table top engineering estimates for accuracy and scope.
- Daily interface and coordination with planning portfolio engineers & client management.
- Interface with client’s accounting group to establish financial setup for projects.
- Create analyses & reports to assist the client in tracking, coordination, and execution of projects.
- Build baseline scopes, schedules and budgets to be released to multiple client’s stakeholders.
- Create project change requests (scope, In-service date, etc.)
- Informal mentoring and training of client’s portfolio engineers on T&D Design and projects.
Requirements of the Electrical Engineer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and at least 3 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Or a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and at least 3 years of electrical engineering experience .
- Or a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of electrical engineering experience.
- 6+ years of T&D experience preferred.
- High attention to detail and organization.
