Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment within the plant. The role ensures continuous and reliable power supply to all operations while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, operate, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and control panels.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of motors, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical components.
- Monitor power distribution, energy consumption, and electrical load management.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operation.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and maintain equipment logs and service records.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Supervise and guide technicians or electricians in daily tasks.
- Assist in commissioning of new electrical installations and plant upgrades.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for electrical spares and services procurement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in an industrial plant (preferably in biofuels, power, chemical, or manufacturing industries).
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and automation will be an advantage.
- Familiar with safety standards and preventive maintenance systems.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of energy management and power optimization.
- Effective communication and team coordination skills.
