We are seeking to recruit an End User Support Analyst for our global operations, based in our North Sydney office. This role will report to the IS Support Services Manager located in North America and will encompass all aspects of end-user support, including both centralized and distributed applications.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, independent, and disciplined individual who can effectively apply these qualities within the established standards of the Information Systems department and the organization as a whole. The successful candidate will also engage in various projects within the Information Systems department and collaborate with other business functions.
- Configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, and peripherals, including network printers.
- Provide prompt and courteous remote and on-site technical support at both localized and company-wide levels.
- Investigate, prioritize, diagnose, document, and resolve routine software and hardware issues.
- Utilize the trouble ticketing system (ServiceNow) to create, track, and fulfill service requests.
- Consistently meet required response, service, and resolution times.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation.
- Understand the foundational architecture, hardware, and software utilized by the organization.
- Travel to various locations in the APAC region and potentially to Canada and the U.S. (25% travel requirement).
- Adapt to flexible work schedules as needed.
- A degree in Computer Science, a diploma in IT, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in multifaceted support roles.
- Strong expertise in Windows 10-11 and Office 365 management.
- Proficient knowledge of Active Directory management, Azure, and virus control software.
- Understanding firewalls, routers, and switches, along with familiarity in network troubleshooting, is highly desirable.
- Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to end-users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities with concurrent deadlines and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret user needs and develop practical solutions in alignment with Graymont standards.
- A valid driver’s license.
