Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Event Sales Manager to join our growing Events team here at Play Playground. Play Playground, the most playful bar with locations in Vegas and Nashville. With 15,000 square feet of drinks and interactive fun that make you feel like you're the star of your own game show.

As the Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing event bookings within our unique and vibrant space. You will play a pivotal role in attracting clients, organizing events, and ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to attract new clients and secure event bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and community partners to maximize sales opportunities.

Event Coordination:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including scheduling, logistics, catering, and entertainment.
  • Ensure seamless execution of events by liaising with internal teams and external vendors.

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the event planning process.
  • Address any client inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Strive to exceed client expectations and create memorable experiences for guests.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to drive event bookings.
  • Utilize various marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and networking events, to promote our venue and attract new clients.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor expenses and revenue streams related to events and sales activities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or event industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of event planning and coordination processes.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Base Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
