Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer at Affifa in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for tasks such as embroidery, fashion design, fitting, textiles, and creating new fashion trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and trendsetting fashion designs.
- Develop and oversee design concepts from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with other designers, product developers, and marketing teams.
- Select fabrics, colors, and patterns for collections.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends and market demands.
- Manage the design process and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Handle exhibitions for the company, including planning and organizing showcases to present new collections.
Qualifications
- Embroidery and Textiles skills
- Fashion Design and Fitting skills
- Experience in creating new fashion trends
- Knowledge of fashion industry trends
- Strong attention to detail and creative flair
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field is a plus
- NIFD or NIFT certification is preferred.
