We are now expanding into the domestic fashion market and seeking a designer who understands the region's tastes and trends.
Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced
Fashion Designer
to create trend-focused, commercially viable collections for the Ludhiana market. This role involves concept development, design execution, and close coordination with sampling, merchandising, and production to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal collections tailored to the North India/Ludhiana market.
- Create sketches, tech packs, and detailed design sheets.
- Coordinate with sampling, pattern master, and production teams.
- Research trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and competitor offerings.
- Ensure fit accuracy, construction feasibility, and final garment quality.
- Work with merchandising on costing and development planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of experience
in fashion/apparel design (Ludhiana experience preferred). - Strong skills in
Fashion Design
, silhouette development, and trend research. - Proficiency in
Embroidery, Textiles, and Fabric selection
. - Solid understanding of
Garment Fitting and Construction
. - Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to design for commercial success.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design (preferred).
- Experience working with manufacturing units is an added advantage.
