Role: Finance Manager
Position Overview
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports decision-making with meaningful insights, and helps drive the companys financial strategy for growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends to support strategic decisions.
- Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis for business planning.
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize financing arrangements.
- Oversee investments, fund allocations, and liquidity management.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Implement and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and financial regulations.
Business Support
- Partner with department heads to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Support cost optimization, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.
- Prepare management dashboards and reports for leadership.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting team members.
- Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters/MBA preferred).
Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
Proven experience (5–10 years) in finance management, accounting, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and taxation.
Proficiency in ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
