We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Finance Manager
to manage the end-to-end finance operations of our Australian entity. This role will be responsible for bookkeeping, payroll processing, invoice management, financial reporting, and compliance—
entirely managed on Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll
.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee
day-to-day bookkeeping
and reconciliation of
Books - Manage
Payroll
setup, processing, STP submissions, and superannuation contributions - Raise, send, and track
client and vendor invoices - Reconcile payments, manage accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor and report on cash flow, expenses, and monthly P&L
- Ensure BAS, GST, and payroll tax compliance (liaising with accountants if needed)
- Maintain financial records and documentation for audits and reporting
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports via Zoho Books
- Set up workflows and automations within Zoho for financial operations
- Coordinate with the leadership team for budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing finances for Australian entities
- Expert-level proficiency in Zoho Books,XERO and Zoho Payroll
(mandatory) - Solid understanding of Australian taxation (GST, BAS, payroll tax)
- Familiarity with contractor payments and STP compliance
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Experience working remotely and managing international stakeholders
