Responsibilities:
• Oversee the monthly accounting close process and prepare comprehensive financial reports for presentation to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
• Address client inquiries promptly and provide accurate financial information as needed.
• Maintain and enhance accounting and financial systems to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
• Manage bi-monthly payroll processes, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and coordinating with the payroll provider to guarantee timely tax payments.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices, particularly within the nonprofit sector.
• Support the preparation of grant-related financial reports and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend adjustments to meet organizational goals.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a related role.
