Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fleet Sales Manager to lead our sales team in developing and managing relationships with businesses seeking fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, exceptional negotiation skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage the sales pipeline while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals in fleet sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition for customers.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that highlight fleet offerings.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on best practices for high-end sales and customer engagement.
  • Conduct public speaking engagements to promote fleet services at industry events or community gatherings.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory management teams to ensure product availability.
  • Engage in cold calling and outbound sales efforts to generate new business opportunities.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the automotive or dealership sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures in B2B environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and managing a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Experience in high-end sales, upselling, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse clientele.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with effective phone etiquette.
