The firm continue to grow both AuM and headcount and there is an increasing demand to understand all aspects of the business and the data they own and produce. As a result of this, they are looking for a highly capable FP&A Manager to join their finance team. This role will be central to enhancing the firm's financial planning, analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
Role Overview
The FP&A Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities across the firm. This role requires a hands-on individual with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills who can partner with senior stakeholders and manage a small team.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Lead the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO, department heads, and investment teams to support business planning and performance monitoring.
- Develop and enhance financial models, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
- Manage and mentor junior finance staff.
- Prepare board-level materials and investor reporting as required.
Requirements
- 10 years+ of relevant FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally within a hedge fund, asset management, or broader financial services environment.
- Proven experience managing and developing junior team members.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – confident interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Professional qualification (CPA/CFA) or MBA preferred but not essential.
