Our client — a long-established and proudly Australian organisation in the training and education space — is on the hunt for a Front-End Developer who lives and breathes UI/UX, thrives in VueJS, and can take ownership of product design from concept to launch.

You’ll be the first front-end hire and play a key role in building the product from the ground up — setting the standards, crafting the design system, and eventually growing a team around you. Responsibilities

Drive the front-end strategy and build out the architecture from scratch
Collaborate closely with a hands-on Product Owner to bring a complete product vision to life
Build elegant, high-performing, and reusable VueJS components
Turn ideas into wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma
Visualise user journeys and bring them to life through polished UI
Integrate with middleware and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences
Create and maintain a component library and design system with Storybook
Lead by example — mentor junior developers and establish best practices
Stay up to date with the latest in front-end tech and Agile workflows

About You

Strong experience with VueJS
Deep knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices
Experience using Figma (or similar) to create wireframes and visualise user flows
A sharp eye for performance optimisation and responsive design
Proven experience creating component libraries and scalable design systems
A good grasp of middleware, APIs, and how the front end plugs into it all
A collaborative mindset and leadership experience — you’ll be setting the tone for a growing team
Comfort working in Agile environments and with modern front-end build tools
