Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using JavaScript, React.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Implement reusable, modular, and responsive UI components aligned with UX, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to take features from concept to production with complete ownership.
- Track and optimize engineering metrics and KPIs, ensuring performance, stability, and scalability.
- Integrate AI-driven capabilities into frontend workflows (e.g., personalization, intelligent testing, or automation).
- Implement unit, integration, and E2E testing using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Karma, or Playwright.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain best practices across the frontend codebase.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and advocate their adoption where valuable.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on JavaScript development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of component-based architecture.
- Solid experience in HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, or Chakra UI.
- Strong knowledge of state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or MobX.
- Proficient in frontend testing frameworks and tools – Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Karma, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with Node.js for backend integration, API consumption, or server-side rendering (SSR).
- Knowledge of PWA (Progressive Web App) concepts and implementation.
- Basic exposure to Java / Spring Boot for backend collaboration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and Git version control.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for deployment and scalability.
- Strong grasp of web performance optimization, caching strategies, and observability tools such as Lighthouse, Sentry, or Datadog.
- Awareness of AI/ML integration in frontend development, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and analytics.
