We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer with expertise in building secure, scalable, and performance-optimized user interfaces. The ideal candidate will be skilled in React, experienced in developing Chrome extensions, and adept at designing responsive applications optimized for minimal bandwidth consumption. The role also requires a strong awareness of security best practices, SOC2 compliance, and performance optimization techniques to ensure seamless user experiences across devices and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development
- Design and develop interactive, responsive web applications using React.
- Build, test, and deploy Chrome extensions integrated with backend systems.
- Ensure applications are optimized for low bandwidth environments without compromising usability.
- Performance Optimization
- Implement best practices for code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and compression.
- Monitor and improve application performance (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores).
- Reduce resource consumption while maintaining high-quality UX/UI.
- Security & Compliance
- Ensure frontend security through input validation, data protection, and secure storage.
- Collaborate with InfoSec teams to align with SOC2 and general security compliance.
- Mitigate common frontend vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, clickjacking).
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with backend, DevOps, and design teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and documentation.
- Advocate for UI/UX consistency across products and platforms.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in software development, including 3+ years in blockchain development.
- Core Technologies: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind/Styled Components.
- Chrome Extension Development: Proficiency in building extensions, manifest files, and integrations.
- Performance Optimization: Strong grasp of bandwidth-efficient development practices.
- Security Awareness: Understanding of SOC2 principles, secure coding, and data handling.
- Responsive Design: Ability to create mobile-first, cross-browser, and accessible applications.
- Testing Tools: Experience with Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library or similar frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience in fintech, eCommerce, or SaaS platforms with strict compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated frontend deployments.
- Contributions to open-source frontend or security-focused projects.
