Job Description
This is a Permanent role with one of the seed funded startup in fintech domain - A valued client of Hiredahead.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new user-facing features and components using and its core principles.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, well-structured, and reusable code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Write unit and integration tests (e.g., using Jest, React Testing Library) to ensure code quality and robustness.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and troubleshoot UI performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Contribute to our engineering best practices, including code reviews and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong expertise in and common React workflows (e.g., Redux, Context API, Hooks).
- Experience with modern frontend build pipelines and tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
- Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
