We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to join and lead our Customer Fulfillment Operations team in Perth.

As a Site Manager, you’ll provide inspiring and supportive leadership for your teams, while also being hands-on when necessary.

You’ll manage a team of Operations Managers and their direct reports. Your leadership will motivate and inspire your teams to excel, while planning schedules that balance their needs with business goals.

You will lead process improvement projects to streamline activities, with innovative ideas that could be implemented across the Amazon network.

Your role is pivotal in managing, controlling, organizing, and directing the outbound or inbound operations of your fulfillment center.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards and promoting a safety culture.
  • Ensuring safety, quality, performance, and customer experience in your operational area.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on processes like 5S audits.
  • Managing data collection and updating operational metrics regularly.
  • Driving quality initiatives, process changes, and Lean initiatives.
  • Achieving productivity targets, reducing costs, eliminating errors, and enhancing customer experience.
  • Setting clear requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measuring performance, and providing feedback.
  • Collaborating with support teams on staffing, schedules, and performance.
  • Sharing best practices across departments and shifts.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading large, diverse teams.
  • Employee and performance management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage details.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related fields.
  • Strong operational experience in a fast-growing industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with contingent workforce during peak seasons.
  • Proven change management record.
