Role Description
Are you a creative and highly motivated individual with a passion for social media and a talent for video editing?
We're looking for a dynamic Graphic Design & Video Editing Intern to join our team for a 3-month unpaid internship. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring designer or video editor to gain hands-on experience, build a professional portfolio, and contribute to a fast-paced and innovative team.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Video Editing (Core Responsibility):
Edit and produce engaging video content for our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, Tiktok, linkedin , Snapchat). This includes cutting footage, adding text overlays, motion graphics, music, and sound effects to create high-impact, shareable content.
Graphic Design:
Design visually appealing graphics for our social media channels, including but not limited to static posts, stories, and carousel posts.
- Content Ideation:
Brainstorm and propose creative ideas for new social media video and graphic content, staying up-to-date with current trends and platform best practices.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Video Editing Software:
Strong skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Capcut, VN, filmora or similar tools.
Proficiency in Graphic Design Software:
Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other design tools like Canva or Figma.
A strong portfolio demonstrating your video editing and graphic design skills.
Please include examples of social media content you have created.
Familiarity with social media platforms
and an understanding of what makes content perform well on each.
Creative and detail-oriented mindset
with a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to work independently
and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills
and a proactive attitude.
A passion for digital media and storytelling.
Potential for a paid position:
Based on exceptional performance during the 3-month internship, there will be an opportunity for absorption into a full-time or part-time paid role.
This is an unpaid internship for a duration of 3 months.
