Overview
We're partnering with a high-growth (and well established), PE-backed technology company to hire a strategic and hands-on Head of Global Controllership. Reporting directly to the CFO, this executive will be instrumental in scaling operations, strengthening controls, and building a world-class finance infrastructure across a global footprint. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in controllership, technical accounting, and financial operations with the leadership ability to manage a high-performing, global managed services team. This is a rare opportunity with a high-degree of upside potential to scale an already established name in the FinTech industry.
What You'll Own
- Lead global accounting operations including AR, AP, billing, and treasury
- Oversee statutory reporting and audit processes across 65+ countries
- Ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and drive technical accounting initiatives
- Direct a high-performing global shared-services model
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, and IT
Qualifications
- 10+ (ideally 15+) years of progressive accounting leadership experience
- Ideal experience will come from the payment processing industry
- Proven success overseeing global accounting and operational finance teams
- Strong background in technical accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Hands-on experience managing global shared services
- CPA required
