Head of Health Insurance Partnerships

Our client — a dynamic and well-resourced organisation in the comparison services space — is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Health Insurance Partnerships to lead the launch and growth of their B2B health insurance vertical.
This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up, leveraging your industry expertise and connections to create a market-leading solution for corporate and SME clients.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the executive team, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of a B2B health insurance comparison platform.
  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships with major private health insurers, securing highly competitive offers for business clients.
  • Drive commercial outcomes, revenue growth, and long-term vertical success.
  • Negotiate high-value deals and lead commercial agreements from end to end.
  • Work closely with internal product, marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless implementation and customer experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, delivering tailored health insurance solutions at scale.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Deep industry connections within the Australian private health insurance sector.
  • Proven experience in B2B business development, partnerships or distribution, ideally from a health insurer, comparison site, or brokerage.
  • A solid grasp of the commercial and regulatory environment in the health insurance market.
  • A track record of negotiating and securing strategic partnerships.
  • A proactive, driven approach, with the ability to work autonomously in a start-up style environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and commercial strategy skills.
