An international, medium-to-large pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize its global supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster cross-functional collaboration to support the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the supply chain strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
Lead a diverse team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
Oversee procurement, inventory management, production scheduling, logistics, and customer service.
Drive cost optimization, process efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance.
Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, regulatory, and commercial teams.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate cost-effective sourcing agreements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including GMP and GDP.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years leading large, global teams.
In-depth knowledge of international trade, customs, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical sector.
Proven track record in supply chain optimization and digital transformation projects.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional analytical and project management abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, required. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) preferred.
Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
