Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Supply Chain Management, located in Chennai. The Head of Supply Chain Management will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations, optimizing supply chain performance, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. The candidate will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading a team of supply chain professionals.
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in the cables or manufacturing industry is advantageous
