You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to our healthcare clients, ensuring their operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations. This exciting role involves a broad range of legal duties, including risk assessments, audits, and strategic planning. Responsibilities: 1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to healthcare clients on a broad range of legal matters, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution. 2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to identify potential legal issues and develop effective strategies to mitigate legal risks. 3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the protection of our clients' rights and interests. 4. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations, presenting strong and persuasive legal arguments. 5. Keep abreast of changes in healthcare laws and regulations, and advise clients on the potential impact of these changes on their operations. 6. Develop and implement effective legal policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of legal operations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. 7. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide high-quality legal services to our clients. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Healthcare Compliance Attorney or a similar role in the legal industry. 3. A valid license to practice law in D.C. or MD. 4. In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations. 5. Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and audits. 6. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner. 9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. 10.
