* Job Summary *
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR department. This role includes developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the organization’s goals. The HR Manager will also oversee payroll administration, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compliance, and training initiatives to ensure a productive and legally compliant workplace.

*Key Responsibilities*
*General HR Duties*
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, mediating disputes and promoting a positive work environment.
* Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
* Maintain and update employee records in accordance with legal requirements and internal procedures.
* Develop and deliver training programs that promote employee development and compliance awareness.
* Oversee recruitment processes including job postings, interviewing, and selection.
* Lead employee engagement initiatives and support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
*Payroll Administration*
* Oversee and manage the payroll process for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
* Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
* Coordinate with the finance department and third-party payroll providers as needed.
* Ensure proper application of compensation policies, including bonuses, raises, and deductions.
* Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Ensure payroll data confidentiality and data integrity.
* Stay up to date on wage and hour laws, tax codes, and payroll best practices.
*Qualifications*
*Education*
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
*Experience*
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years in managerial role.
* Proven experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll) is essential.
*Skills*
* *Strong* knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
