Sovereign Lives is a registered NDIS provider committed to empowering people with disabilities and their families. To support our expanding workforce, we are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to oversee daily HR operations and collaborate with managers across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Operations & HRIS
    • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: recruitment, onboarding, contracts, variations, and separations.
    • Maintain and optimize MYP (our HRIS/CRM) and Jotform workflows for compliance data management and reporting.
    • Monitor credentialing requirements such as NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, police checks, licenses, and training, with automated renewal reminders.
  • Workforce Planning & Performance
    • Partner with service delivery teams to forecast staffing needs and manage talent pipelines.
    • Coordinate probation and performance reviews, analyze KPIs, and advise on development or remediation actions.
    • Monitor support-worker utilization, identifying gaps or overtime risks.
  • Policy, Audit & Quality
    • Ensure HR policies align with NDIS Practice Standards, Fair Work Act, and SCHADS Award.
    • Lead HR aspects of internal and external audits, utilizing evidence from MYP and Jotform.
    • Promote adherence to the NDIS Code of Conduct and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Employee Engagement & ER
    • Serve as the first point of contact for HR matters, coaching supervisors on ER/IR issues, grievances, and investigations.
    • Facilitate induction, compliance training, and professional development using Jotform registration and feedback tools.
    • Coordinate engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programs.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Create HR dashboards in MYP and integrate Jotform data for actionable insights.
    • Monitor HR budgets, overhead trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Representation & Networking
    • Represent Sovereign Lives at career expos, industry forums, and community events.
    • Develop supplier networks to enhance workforce capabilities.
Candidate Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in HR coordination, ideally within the NDIS sector.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, compliance requirements, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Relevant HR qualifications are preferred.
