Job Summary:
The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR administrative tasks and ensuring smooth HR processes. This role focuses on employee lifecycle management, maintaining HR systems, compliance, payroll coordination, and supporting overall HR strategy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Lifecycle Management:
Manage onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and exits. Ensure all employee records are accurately maintained. - HR Data Management:
Maintain HRIS (Human Resource Information System) data integrity, update employee records, and generate reports as needed. - Payroll Coordination:
Work closely with payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing including leaves, attendance, and benefits data. - Compliance & Policies:
Ensure HR processes comply with legal requirements and company policies. Support audits and maintain documentation. - Employee Relations Support:
Assist in resolving employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll. - HR Reporting:
Prepare and present HR metrics and dashboards for management review. - Process Improvement:
Identify and recommend improvements in HR operational processes to increase efficiency and employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations or administration.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, BambooHR).
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Experience with payroll processing.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
