Job Summary
We are looking for an
IAM Business Analyst and Reporting Specialist – Authentication
to join our team in either Seattle, WA or Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong IAM expertise and excellent stakeholder management skills. This role will involve leading the planning, building, delivery, and support of Authentication services during a large-scale IAM transformation as we migrate from one Identity Provider (IDP) to another. You will serve as the critical bridge between technical and business teams, coordinating integration efforts and driving successful application onboardings across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Coordination: Coordinate across a team of integration engineers to ensure efficiency and successful onboarding of applications to the new authentication platform.
- Primary Point of Contact: Act as the main liaison between technical and business teams, leading office hours, addressing escalations, and facilitating smooth communication throughout the migration process.
- Application Analysis: Provide detailed analysis of applications to be onboarded for business segments, assessing requirements, dependencies, and integration approaches.
- Onboarding Queue Management: Oversee and manage the application onboarding queue, ensuring prioritization aligns with business objectives and timelines are met.
- Customer-Centric Support: Foster a customer-centric culture by providing continuous feedback on service delivery and identifying onboarding process improvements to enhance user experience.
- Reporting and Analytics: Drive and improve reporting on migration success by gathering insights from multiple data sources, creating dashboards, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management, including authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations
Skills:
Strong understanding of SAML and OIDC authentication protocols
- Experience with manual and automated reporting, gathering insights from multiple data sources
- Excellent coordination and project management abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Customer service orientation with a focus on continuous improvement
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Other:
Ability to perform a variety of tasks with guidance from senior IAM engineers, product managers, and architects
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced transformation environment
- Strong problem-solving and escalation management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale IDP migrations or IAM transformations
- Familiarity with common Identity Providers (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, Ping Identity, ForgeRock)
- Knowledge of API integrations and directory services
- Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)
- Background in business analysis or technical consulting
- ServiceNow or ITSM platform experience
- Understanding of change management and user adoption strategies
- Agile or Scrum methodology experience
