Industrial Product Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time contracting role for a motivated
Product Designer
specializing in consumer goods to join our product development team and help bring thoughtful, user-focused products to life. This is a contract position with the opportunity to bring projects from the conceptual stage to production and launching.

Responsibilities

• Work closely under the guidance of the
  Lead Product Designer
  to support projects from concept to production hand-off
• Assist with user, design and market research to inform design direction
• Collecting visual references, inspiration, and form language to support concept development.
• Create sketches, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials that clearly communicate design intent
• Assist with prototyping, CMF exploration, and user validation
• Collaborate across teams — including
  engineering, manufacturing, graphics, and the Creative Director
  — to ensure a cohesive product vision
• Prepare design documentation and maintain design integrity through every stage of development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial
  Product
  Design or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in Industrial Product Design or related field
• Proficiency in
  SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, KeyShot
  , and
  Adobe Creative Suite
  (or equivalent tools)
• Strong sense of aesthetics, proficiency in product design language, creativity, and attention to detail
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• A portfolio that showcases design thinking, craftsmanship, precision and curiosity
• Experience in consumer electronics, tripods, or related product categories is a plus
• Confident sketching,
  concept design,
  and rapid visualization abilities
  is a plus
• Familiarity with manufacturing materials and processes (plastics, metals, etc.)
  is a plus
