Now Hiring:

Full-Time (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities of a (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist:

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on care planning processes and issues.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
  
  

Qualifications of a (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist:

• Infection Control experience preferred.
• Long Term Care Experience required
• Infection Preventionist Certification with the CDC preferred
  
  

License for a (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist:

• Must have an Active (RN) Registered Nurse License in WI.
• IPC Certification through the CDC
