Having started in France and expanded into Belgium, Switzerland, and Spain, we are now entering Italy as part of our European expansion.

Your role

You will be part of our founding Inside Sales team for Italy, responsible for establishing our commercial presence. Your duties include managing the full sales cycle—both inbound and outbound—including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals. You will work across various sectors like hospitality, retail, and construction, with diverse customer types from small businesses to key accounts. You will be based in Barcelona and report directly to the Country Manager Italy.

Your missions

  • Prospect new leads in Italy, primarily through cold calling
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads from marketing, partnerships, and personal prospecting
  • Understand customer needs and customize pitches to demonstrate how Skello simplifies workforce management
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demos to convert prospects into paying customers
  • Ensure smooth handover to client teams after signing, possibly onboarding initial customers yourself
  • Gather feedback from early customers and share insights with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Contribute to the development of Italy-specific sales strategies, including messaging, objections handling, personas, and pricing

Your profile

  • Native Italian speaker, fluent in English or French
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in SaaS or a fast-paced B2B environment
  • Strong growth mindset: passionate about engaging with customers, persuasive, resilient to rejection, and comfortable in early-stage markets
  • Proficient with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Aircall) and metrics-driven environments
