As part of a team of External Account Managers, working within a defined territory or account list, you will collaborate with the "account team" to effectively engage the market, increase revenues, and improve margins within your region/accounts. This involves identifying new customer opportunities and maintaining or increasing revenues within existing accounts.
The Inside Sales Representative role is 100% office-based and focuses on revenue generation and closing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and qualify new lead opportunities to increase revenue in target vertical markets.
- Generate prospective customers through warm and cold calling, lead qualification, and marketing leads.
- Build relationships with relevant channel partners.
- Develop and maintain end-user relationships.
- Communicate specific sales propositions to end users.
- Achieve set targets and KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
- Collaborate with your Account Manager on strategic and tactical planning.
- Handle account management tasks such as evaluations, licenses, renewals, and quotations.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage the sales cycle for smaller opportunities, including renewals.
- Manage marketing campaigns for your region/accounts, utilizing telemarketing and providing feedback on success.
- Act as a stand-in for your Account Manager when absent, including forecast reviews and being the first contact point for accounts and partners.
Required Skills:
- At least 18 months of proven sales experience in an inside sales role, preferably within IT security, networking, or hardware.
- Knowledge of SFDC/Salesforce.com is advantageous.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Motivated, self-starter, capable of handling ambiguity.
- Hunter mentality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with a record of exceeding targets and KPIs.
- Self-confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
