About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and creative Interior Designer with 5–7 years of professional experience in Residential and Corporate Office Interior projects.
The ideal candidate should possess strong design sensibilities, technical detailing proficiency, and a practical understanding of site coordination, materials, and services integration.
The position is based at our South Mumbai office and involves end-to-end project responsibility — from concept design through working drawings, tender documentation, and on-site execution supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Develop conceptual and schematic designs based on client requirements and project brief.
Prepare detailed working drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors for smooth project delivery.
Undertake site visits and ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
Assist in preparing presentation drawings, 3D visualizations, and mood boards.
Collaborate with the principal architect and senior team members for design reviews and material selections.
Manage project documentation, timelines, and client communication efficiently.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office (knowledge of Revit is an advantage).
Excellent knowledge of materials, furniture detailing, and modular systems.
Good understanding of lighting layouts, HVAC coordination, and MEP integration from an interior design standpoint.
Ability to handle multiple projects independently with clarity on time and cost control.
Creative approach with attention to proportion, detailing, and finishing standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional presentation ability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design / Interior Architecture from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Residential and/or Corporate Interior Projects.
Work Location
Office: South Mumbai
(Occasional travel to project sites within Mumbai Metropolitan Region as required)
