Purpose of Role:

The Inventory Controller is a key member of the Stock Management & Control Team, responsible for managing all inventory across public and private hospitals served by Tekno Surgical. The role involves ensuring stock accuracy, investigating variances, managing stock rotation, and generating reports to support decision-making and KPIs, in line with company SOPs. Regular travel to various sites is required, working closely with the Stock Management and Sales teams to optimize stock levels. Candidates must hold a full clean driver's license due to field presence requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stock counts across hospital locations and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate stock data and investigate discrepancies
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data
  • Rotate short-dated stock to high-usage accounts
  • Support removal of expired stock
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking
  • Produce and track KPIs
  • Support hospital consignment agreements

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience in stock control, inventory management, or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills
  • ERP system experience is an advantage; intermediate Excel skills required (pivot tables, data manipulation)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Customer service-oriented attitude
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Minimum 2 years ERP transaction processing experience (NAV is an advantage)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
  • Ad hoc duties as required
